Mobile and real-time advertising effectiveness monitoring
The Touchpointer gives advertisers an answer to the question:
"What - of all my marketing tools - contributes most to the awareness of my brand?"
The Touchpointer records two dimensions: Touchpoint frequency, including exact geo-positioning coordinates, and qualitative touchpoint evaluation provided by the panel subjects.
Typical survey flow:
The panel subject flags each touchpoint with the device by pushing a button and provides an immediate assessment of the touchpoint using a 3-level scale (e.g. positive / neutral / negative). For each touchpoint, the Touchpointer sends the following information by GSM to the central server:
Date and time
Technical status messages; e.g. battery charge, SIM card balance
A detailed map depicting all the recorded touchpoints and accessible via web interface facilitates the panel subject's subsequent in-depth commenting and/or questionnaire responses.
